Government-run education confiscates money from the productive and subsidizes malcontents, irrationality, and devours even the concept of "education." UCSD is eliminating master’s degrees in electrical and computer engineering, but it is adding more bureaucracy dedicated to diversity. When you think of productive endeavors that improve the world, do you look to electrical engineers, or "diversity studies" PhDs?

Craig Huey almost won. The trick: he’s a principled conservative.

South Bay Republican Craig Huey lost, 45% to Janice Hahn's 54%. Craig Huey received a higher percentage of the vote in this district than gubernatorial candidate Bill Simon, George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004, John McCain, Meg Whitman, and Carly Fiorina. How? He is a principled, conservative tea party candidate running in a heavily Democrat district. Almost won. Run a conservative like Huey nationwide to defeat Obama.

TSA is a jobs creation program for incompetent buffoons

While you’re being harassed by TSA agents to take off your shoes, let them touch you in intimate locations, and bark orders to you as though you’re in a North Korean prison camp, a Nigerian immigrant has been able to use boarding passes that were not in his name and actually get on a commercial airline!  Olajide Oluwaseun Noibi flew from NYC to LA using an expired boarding pass in another man’s name.  During the flight, airline officials noticed that he was in a seat that was unsold.  They alerted the Los Angeles police department, the FBI, and TSA.  Incredibly, he was released without charge when he landed!  Yes, while you’re being harassed, the federal government is letting dangerous people like this out loose!  Could it be that TSA was created not for the purpose of security, but mainly as a jobs program for incompetent buffoons (in much the same way that our schools are a “jobs” program for incompetent teachers)? 

By the way, Olajide Oluwaseun Noibi was recently arrested for trying the same scheme again when he was trying to board a Delta flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta.

Janice Hahn Gang Intervention Controversy

South Bay Democrat Congressional candidate Janice Hahn gang controversy is not going away.  South Bay voters: Janice Hahn is bad news.  At worst, she hires dangerous gang members to handle “gang intervention” work (whatever that means).  At best, she is an incompetent buffoon.  Don’t elect her, especially because you have better choices with Craig Huey.
