Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  In 2012, we will take efforts to return back to the constitutional principles upon which our country was Founded.  Thankfully, the American people have the choice to elect a president who believes in the American system of government.  There is still time to reverse the damage that has been done all of these years.

No more socialism

We need to elect a new president to bring back traditional American style capitalism.

Is Obama a communist?

Obama recently said that the “free market” has never worked.  I think Obama has admitted that he is a communist!

“You are on your own.” We wish!

"The one thing that we absolutely know for sure is that if we don't work even harder than we did in 2008, then we're going to have a government that tells the American people, 'you are on your own.'" -- Barack Obama. He's telling us if he loses, the government is going to leave us alone. Is he campaigning for Republicans?

Too many Americans thought 2008 was American Idol season

Too many Americans think of the office of President of the United States as American Idol. It isn't. Ask yourself--have things gotten better or worse since Obama took office? Unemployment is higher. Economic growth is negative. Housing is in a depression. The stock market doesn't know whether to go up or down. Deficits are in the trillions. Afghanistan's Prime Minister said that he would take the side of Pakistan if America went to war against Pakistan. Foreign leaders don't respect this president. All of this is predictable. The president's ideology is statism, that is, the state should be in control of as much of the economy and in our lives as possible. (Look at the Soviet Union to see how this works in practice). President Obama is not a leader. He has done a terrible job and Karen Bass has not done her proper duty in proposing legislation that will repeal the damage that this president has done.

Thomas Jefferson on the Limited Powers in the US Constitution

"The construction applied ... to those parts of the Constitution of the United States which delegate Congress a power ... ought not to be construed as themselves to give unlimited powers, nor a part to be so taken as to destroy the whole residue of that instrument." --Thomas Jefferson, Draft Kentucky Resolutions, 1798

College administrators lied to the #occupy movement

You can tell that we have too many college grads when you have these #occupy folks protesting being in debt for $250,000 to major in a worthless sociology degree. Sorry folks, but reality is reality: there is no demand for the claptrap you learned. You got in debt. Voluntarily. China didn't do it. Wall Street didn't do it. If anything, Democrats in Congress and college administrators lied to you and said if you don't borrow hundreds of thousands for this worthless degree, you'll work at McDonald's. But now you are working at Starbucks... (not that there's anything wrong with Starbucks).

Japan told Obama not to apologize for Hiroshima

Obama wanted to apologize for nuking Japan, but Japan told him no!  The main reason why they didn’t want Obama to apologize for nuking Japan is because it would only cause more of their own anti-nuke activists to protest the nuclear power industry in Japan.

American Jobs Act Without Congressional Approval?

Obama apparently is trying to enact the American Jobs Act without Congress!  But according to the United States Constitution, only Congress, not the executive branch, can spend federal money.  How does this man think that he can spend money without congressional authorization?

CIA must be unleashed to promote American values

The CIA must be unleashed to take all efforts abroad to defeat every foe of American liberty.  For too long, the CIA has become a government agency with tons of bureaucrats reading foreign newspapers.  (How is it possible to know about what is going on in foreign countries when we are just reading foreign newspapers?) We will never advance the American agenda (i.e., liberty) agenda that way.  CIA agents must have the capacity to take out authoritarian, fascist, communist, and Islamofascist leaders anywhere in the world when those regimes are a threat to our national security. (Iran definitely fits this definition).  Further, the CIA must have the capacity to create shell corporations that advance the American agenda, delegitimize and demoralize Islamofascism, and positively promote the American way of life -- worldwide.

Obama didn’t like ethics too much in school

Obama says that ethics was not one of his favorite courses!

Illegal alien lobby station to fire John and Ken.

A bunch of cry baby ethnic front-groups are demanding that John and Ken be taken off the air on KFI’s 640am station in Los Angeles.  The truth is that these front groups for foreign nations don’t like any opposition to what they are doing.  They do not want anyone to be informed about the fact that these influence peddlers are demanding that the government use force, confiscate wealth from American taxpayers, and transfer it to foreign nationals who are not in the country legally.

Who would you vote for?  Mickey Mouse or Barack Obama?

North Carolina Democrat Gov. Beverly Perdue has asked that congressional elections be canceled!

North Carolina Democrat Gov. Beverly Perdue has asked that congressional elections be canceled!  Yes, she said it!  Canceling elections in America and creating a dictatorship? The Democratic Party way! This is the logical consequence of following a statist ideology. After massively increasing the size and scope of government, mandating what you can eat, what kind of car you may drive, the light bulbs you have in your home, what kind of health care you may receive, it's just a logical next step to say that you are not competent to elect your leaders either. Democrats oppose representative government because they know the people, properly informed, will oppose Democrats. (Thomas Friedman once famously said that we should be China for a day--you know, on election day).

Obama’s “Jobs Bill”

My impression of Obama's jobs bill. Obama: "Pass this bill." Um, what bill? "Pass it!" What, shouldn't we discuss it? "Obama: Can't. We're in a hurry. Just pass it, and read it later." Shouldn't we think it over? Obama: "NO! Pass it now." But it's not even written yet. Obama: "Doesn't matter. Just pass the damn thing now."

We will repeal Obamacare.

Any idiotic nation can destroy its health care system.  Obama claimed that we would love Obamacare.  It’s so unpopular he won’t talk about it, nor will he campaign on this so-called “landmark” law.  For over one hundred years, Americans said that they do not want government-run health care.  What did Obama do?  He said, I don’t care.  He signed it with glee, laughing at the American people who will suffer from this law.  But thankfully, we will overcome.  We will repeal Obamacare.

Thomas Jefferson on despots like Obama

"History by apprising [citizens] of the past will enable them to judge of the future; it will avail them of the experience of other times and other nations; it will qualify them as judges of the actions and designs of men; it will enable them to know ambition under every disguise it may assume; and knowing it, to defeat its views." --Thomas Jefferson, Notes on the State of Virginia, Query 14, 1781

“Article 99” is a wake-up call against government-run health care

"Article 99" is an amazing field precisely because it comes from Hollywood, which has said for years that government-run health care is some sort of utopia.  The film, however, shows a different story.  The film shows the inhumane, bureaucratic-focus of health care when administered by a government agency.  Patients come last and are considered merely numbers.  Doctors are not permitted to consider the needs of their patients.  Rather, patients (in this case veterans) receive sub-standard, rationed care.  This movie is a wake up call, and proves that government-run health care is not about health care, but about government power.  Government-run health care must be opposed, including for veterans.  Rather than run this terrible VA system, veterans should receive vouchers to shop for health care on the free-market.

Democrats hate the military

Democrats recently voted against an amendment that would have required that “that the rules of engagement [ROE] allow any military service personnel assigned to duty in a designated hostile fire area to have rules of engagement that fully protect their right to proactively defend themselves from hostile actions.”  Democrats overwhelmingly voted against providing the military with the means to protect themselves from hostile fire.  77% of Democrats voted against this amendment.

Government-run education confiscates money from the productive and subsidizes malcontents

Government-run education confiscates money from the productive and subsidizes malcontents, irrationality, and devours even the concept of "education." UCSD is eliminating master’s degrees in electrical and computer engineering, but it is adding more bureaucracy dedicated to diversity. When you think of productive endeavors that improve the world, do you look to electrical engineers, or "diversity studies" PhDs?

Craig Huey almost won. The trick: he’s a principled conservative.

South Bay Republican Craig Huey lost, 45% to Janice Hahn's 54%. Craig Huey received a higher percentage of the vote in this district than gubernatorial candidate Bill Simon, George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004, John McCain, Meg Whitman, and Carly Fiorina. How? He is a principled, conservative tea party candidate running in a heavily Democrat district. Almost won. Run a conservative like Huey nationwide to defeat Obama.

TSA is a jobs creation program for incompetent buffoons

While you’re being harassed by TSA agents to take off your shoes, let them touch you in intimate locations, and bark orders to you as though you’re in a North Korean prison camp, a Nigerian immigrant has been able to use boarding passes that were not in his name and actually get on a commercial airline!  Olajide Oluwaseun Noibi flew from NYC to LA using an expired boarding pass in another man’s name.  During the flight, airline officials noticed that he was in a seat that was unsold.  They alerted the Los Angeles police department, the FBI, and TSA.  Incredibly, he was released without charge when he landed!  Yes, while you’re being harassed, the federal government is letting dangerous people like this out loose!  Could it be that TSA was created not for the purpose of security, but mainly as a jobs program for incompetent buffoons (in much the same way that our schools are a “jobs” program for incompetent teachers)?

By the way, Olajide Oluwaseun Noibi was recently arrested for trying the same scheme again when he was trying to board a Delta flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta.

Janice Hahn Gang Intervention Controversy

South Bay Democrat Congressional candidate Janice Hahn gang controversy is not going away.  South Bay voters: Janice Hahn is bad news.  At worst, she hires dangerous gang members to handle “gang intervention” work (whatever that means).  At best, she is an incompetent buffoon.  Don’t elect her, especially because you have better choices with Craig Huey

Opposing the war in Libya is not isolationism or pacifism

Opposing the war in Libya is not isolationism or pacifism, contrary to what Sen. McCain and the Wall Street Journal suggest. Rather, it is about preserving the United States Military for its constitutional purpose: to protect the United States from foreign invasion, protect American assets, and to project a credible deterrent to our enemies. The US military was not created to protect foreigners from civil wars. Using our military resources when it is not needed erodes our ability to respond to true threats to our national security.

George Washington's advice to America

"No country upon earth ever had it more in its power to attain these blessings than United America. Wondrously strange, then, and much to be regretted indeed would it be, were we to neglect the means and to depart from the road which Providence has pointed us to so plainly." --George Washington

Obama hates Israel

Well, it’s official.  Obama hates Israel.  Well, anyone observing his public statements would have already arrived at this conclusion.  Obama is not a moderate.  He follows his leftist principles to their logical conclusion.  He does not like freedom, free people, republics, or Western civilization.  It stands to reason, then, that this is why he opposes America, yes, his own country, as well as Israel.  Perhaps this is lost on many people who were led to believe that Obama was some post-ideological hero who would end all divisions.  Not so.  He will only create more divisions because that is all he knows.  This is a man who has never had a job in his life until he became president.  And the American people thought it fit to make him president.

Obama Administration Violates National Defense Authorization Act of 2000

The Obama Administration has decided to invite Chinese military officials to sensitive American military sites. After all, if we allow the Chinese to inspect our military sites, they won't then use this information in order to upgrade their military in order to compete with us? It turns out that such visits actually are already a violation of federal law. National Defense Authorization Act of 2000 states that Chinese military visitors are banned from "inappropriate exposure" to highly sensitive military sites. The Obama Administration, as usual, has decided to simply ignore the law. We'll be blunt: this is not patriotic. Democrats hate America and are willing to jeopardize our national security based upon their perverted and downright evil ideology. Does allowing Chinese military officials improve our national security? The answer is simple: no. Is the Obama Administration violating the Defense Authorization Act of 2000? We think so. The only question is whether this is an impeachable offense.

Michelle Malkin: Why do we still run the Diversity Visa Lottery, anyway?!   Good point.

Government jobs are the only ones Obama cares about

"Let me just first of all say that workers ... for the federal, state and local governments are so important for our vital services, and it frustrates me sometimes when people talk about 'government jobs' as if somehow those are worth less than private sector jobs. I think there is nothing more important than working on behalf of the American people." --Barack Obama, who has never had a real job in his life

Has Obama ever said anything remotely like this about private sector jobs?  He has referred to bankers as “fat cats,” told Americans not to go to Vegas, and said that Republicans should not listen to Rush Limbaugh, a private citizen.  Seems like the only people Obama would like to see working are government workers!

Philosophically, Romneycare and Obamacare are the same

What is that sound that you hear?  It's the sound of silence.  I don't hear many Democrats stating how great Obamacare is. Instead, I hear some Democrats announcing praise on a Republican running for president, Mitt Romney.  They are praising Romneycare, because the philosophical basis of Romneycare--state control over health care, is the same as Obamacare.  And if that is true, why is there a need to fire Obama and hire Romney when, philosophically, following their policies will lead you to the same place?  Something to ponder during this Republican primary.

Whatever happened to the folks I went to law school with?

There is something that I am a bit surprised by that is a bit unrelated to my general topic of bashing Democrats as appeasers of Islamic fascism and their intention to destroy the American republic.  My general question is:  Have you ever known people from high school, college, or graduate school, who just happened to fall off the face of the planet?  That is, you might have known them for quite some time, but there literally is no way to reach them.  Facebook searches fail.  Google searches don't yield any productive results.  Where do these people go?  I sometimes wonder about that.  Attorneys must be members of the state bar, for instance, and all of them are publicly listed.  I have searched for many of them, but in most cases, these results have not yielded results.  How do people disappear like this?

Osama bin Laden’s porn collection.

I happen to think one story in the news that has been particularly mysterious is the pornography “discovered” in Osama bin Laden’s compound.  The story almost sounds too good to be true.  If true, it shows that Bin Laden was really a mass murdering terrorist who did not follow his Islamist ideology (just as communists don’t follow their ideology in their personal lives), but instead, used it to lure recruits to the cause.  On the other hand, even if the story turns out to be false, it’s a brilliant way of delegitimizing the man and hurting the Islamists’ morale.  In any case, I do think that it was a wise move to make the story about Bin Laden’s porn collection public, whether the allegation is true or false.

Michael Bloomberg says immigrants to America must live in the least free part of the nation

The government controls in Detroit have failed, resulting in a mass exodus of the population.  But economic statists like Michael Bloomberg do not suggest removing the government economic controls, but rather placing more new restrictions on immigrants--namely, that on condition of living in a free country, they must live in the least free part of the country, Detroit.  Does that make any sense!?

What would a GOP inauguration speech sound like?

What would a GOP inauguration speech sound like?

Let's be honest: Liberals don't care about war against Islamofascism

With the death of Osama bin Laden, you would think there would be more patriotism in Democrat strongholds like Brentwood, California.  Yet, I'm sitting here in a Pete's Coffee house, and I have not seen any surge in flags on cars, nor are the customers here talking much about Bin Laden.  A friend of mine's girlfriend did not even want to watch the news coverage of the death of Bin Laden.  The liberals don't really care about our war against Islamofascism!

Killing Bin Ladin does not end the war against Islamofascism

Killing Bin Ladin is a victorious battle in a larger, ideological war against Islamofascism. I wish I could say that the war is over. It is not. Islamofascism is a movement far larger than one person. To defeat it, it will require military resources to remove Islamofascist regimes (Iran, for instance) and a committed, ideological war of ideas to undermine Islamofascism and show the superiority of capitalist, representative republics. The first step, which our leaders have never ackowledged, is that it is an ideological war. We're at war with Islamofascism. Evading this fact does not help the cause.

Obama says government is what made America great!

Obama once again says government made America great?

"I will not reduce our deficit by sacrificing the things that have always made America great. The things that have made Americans prosper. I won't sacrifice our investments in education. I will not sacrifice those. I won't sacrifice our investments in science and basic research. I won't sacrifice the safety of our highways or our airports. I won't sacrifice our investment in clean energy at a time when our dependence on foreign oil is causing Americans so much pain at the pump. I will not sacrifice America's future. That I will not do." --Barack Obama

Obama Demagogues the Tax Issue by Invoking Warren Buffett

Obama recently said that he needs to raise taxes on the "rich" so that people like Warren Buffett will pay higher taxes. However, Mr. Buffett as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, has control over his salary, and has kept it so low that none of Obama's new taxes will inflict him. His salary is currently $100,000. In the Wall Street Journal, Obama has been quoted as saying:

“The point is, for the vast majority of Americans," Mr. Obama said, "every dime you earn, you're paying some in Social Security. But for Warren Buffett, he stops paying at a little bit over $100,000 and then the next $50 billion he's not paying a dime in Social Security taxes. So if we just made a little bit of an adjustment in terms of the cap on Social Security, that would do a significant amount to stabilize the system."

Warren Buffett only makes $100,000, so Mr. Obama could increase payroll taxes enormously, and Mr. Warren Buffett would not owe a single dime more in tax. What is even more outrageous is Obama’s contention that Warren Buffett makes $50 billion in a single year. How could that be possible? Berkshire Hathaway’s market cap is $203 billion, so a salary of $50 billion would mean that 24% of the assets of Berkshire Hathaway would be transferred to Mr. Buffett in the form of salary each and every year. Meanwhile, in the process, the market cap would inevitably decline as a result of such a high salary. But Obama doesn’t really care about facts. If it helps him argue for higher taxes, he is more than happy to provide such an argument. Meanwhile, if the public agrees with Obama’s gross distortion of the issue, with the expectation that a higher tax would "punish" Buffett then they are in for a surprise as these higher taxes only hurt those who aspire to become wealthy.

President Obama talks like a valley girl.

"The Oval Office, I always thought I was going to have really cool phones and stuff. ... I'm like, 'C'mon guys, I'm the president of the United States. Where's the fancy buttons and stuff and the big screen comes up?' It doesn't happen." – President Barack Hussein Obama.

I was told this president was so intelligent.  But he sounds more like a valley girl if you ask me.

Paul Krugman endorses government rationing of health care.

We have to do something about health care costs, which means that we have to find a way to start saying no.  In particular, given continuing medical innovation, we can’t maintain a system in which Medicare essentially pays for anything a doctor recommends.” – Paul Krugman in the New York Times.

This is ironic because the liberals have been arguing that private health insurance companies are evil for denying health care treatment.  Now Paul Krugman, a liberal, is endorsing a government politburo that will ration health care for millions of Americans!  But that has always been the purpose of the statists.  They want to be in control over health care, not because they love the people, but rather because they despise the people and want to use the government to ration their liberty.  Thus, the purpose of Medicare is not to extend health care to the elderly, but rather to ration their care.

Obama says America was not great before 1965!

Obama said America was not a great country until we were a large welfare state.  Does this sound like a man who loves American ideals like capitalism and individualism?

From Obama’s speech on the budget:

“[W]e contribute to programs like Medicare and Social Security, which guarantee us health care and a measure of basic income after a lifetime of hard work; unemployment insurance, which protects us against unexpected job loss; and Medicaid, which provides care for millions of seniors in nursing homes, poor children, and those with disabilities. We are a better country because of these commitments. I’ll go further – we would not be a great country without those commitments.”

Isn’t that outrageous!?

Most Americans don’t care if the non-essential aspects of the government gets shut down. Bring on the shut downs!

The media is acting as though most Americans care whether "non-essential" government services will be shut down if there isn't an agreement on the federal budget. I know I don't. That means only the "essential," constitutional functions of government will continue to operate. That's what we want anyway!

Democrat Party Legacy

The Democrat Party is the party of slavery, forcing Indians off their native lands, segregation, internment of Americans of Japanese ancestry, destruction of urban industrial areas like Detroit, wars that do not have any strategic national security interests (Kosovo, Libya) and forcing mostly minority children into schools where no learning whatsoever will take place. What a legacy.

Barack Obama’s web site hosts blogger who says United States supported “right-wing” death squads in Latin America

As a general rule, I occasionally read Letters to the Editor as a form of humor.  However, one completely irrational letter to the editor to the LA Times caught my attention.  In the letter, Roger Carasso said that the U.S. has “repeatedly supported right-wing repression and death squads in Latin America,” and that “U.S. had a chance to undo that legacy by recognizing the Cuban government.”  So the United States must recognize Cuba’s right to brutalize its own citizens, abridge their freedom to peacefully assemble, elect their own representatives, and to have economic liberties?  Such a society should not receive any recognition from the civilized world.

I was thinking, who is this nut?  Well, well, you’ll be surprised.  I did a Google search for him and found a “Roger Carasso blog” on the “Organizing for America” site on my.barackobama.com!  Yes, it’s the president’s web site!

Cicero

"Rarely is there new wisdom. Frequently are there forgotten lessons. 'The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.' --Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43BC)

Nancy Pelosi has contempt for Wisconsin taxpayers

Nancy Pelosi stands against the taxpayers of Wisconsin and instead stands "in solidarity" with the striking malcontent state government union members.  This just proves that Democrats always will go against the best interests of American citizens and take the side of whatever malcontent is protesting at the moment in time.  What about the taxpayers of Wisconsin?  Nancy Pelosi doesn't care about them.  Instead, she thinks the taxpayers of Wisconsin should pay more and more for the retirement and health care benefits of the cry baby state workers.  Why don't the state workers pay for these benefits themselves?  Most people don't have the luxury of protesting and demanding that someone else pay for their benefits!

Democrats hate the military, and NASCAR

Congresswoman Betty McCollum, D-Minn recently proposed a law prohibiting The Defense Department from spending money on advertisements for NASCAR.  Democrats claim that this is “wasteful” spending, but that’s actually not true.  What is the point of the advertising?  It is to recruit patriotic Americans to join the military.  Who tends to go to NASCAR races?  Patriotic Americans!  The advertisements, then, do serve the purpose of advancing our national security interests by placing advertisements in a place that are highly likely to appeal to patriotic Americans.  Democrats hate the military, and NASCAR, so it makes sense why they would propose such a shameful law.

Democrats have contempt for America

Democrats have utter contempt for the voters who elect them.  This week, Barack Obama’s organization, “Organize for America,” is taking efforts to organize thousands of union thugs to bully the state legislature and the Republican governor of Wisconsin from passing the modest rule that union members pay more for their own health care and retirement benefits.  Imagine that—asking union members to pay for their own benefits!  They don’t want to pay for it.  They want citizens to pay for these benefits instead of themselves.

Obama always takes the side of the anti-American regimes

It looks more and more like the Egyptian revolution is not one against authoritarian government, but rather an Islamic, totalitarian movement that is even worse than the prior regime. Not surprisingly, Obama seems to support the idea of an Islamist Egypt, just as he betrayed the people of Honduras by supporting a Chavez-style dictator, and the people of Iran, who truly were interested in removing an anti-American regime. The only pattern is Obama is against the pro-American regimes and always favors the anti-American one. Coincidence?

Obamacare declared unconstitutional

Liberty has returned to America, at least temporarily.  A federal judge ruled that Congress does not have authority granted by the US Constitution to regulate individuals who choose not to partake in interstate commerce, either directly or indirectly.  If Congress had the authority to compel citizens to purchase products from private companies, then the limits of the federal government will have been completely eviscerated.  Interestingly, the federal judge noted that the Obamacare law does not have a severability clause.  He wrote: “Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire Act must be declared void. This has been a difficult decision to reach, and I am aware that it will have indeterminable implications.”

Great day to be an American!

Comparison between UK socialist health care and capitalist American care

Remarkable statistics from the United Nations International Health Organization: "The percentage of people who survived cancer five years after diagnosis: U.S. 65%, U.K. 46%; diagnosed with diabetes who received treatment within six months: U.S.93%, U.K. 15%; seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six months: U.S. 90%, U.K. 15%; getting to see a medical specialist within one month: U.S.77%, U.K.40%." Obama's State of the Union Address: Pretend to be a Conservative

Obama is pretending to be someone he is not in this State of the Union address. He has suggested that he wants to lower corporate income taxes and to rein in "frivolous lawsuits" against health care providers.

Does he really care about either of these issues? NO!

This is a great line to provide in a nationwide speech that a broad swath of Americans are listening to. But will he act upon any of these principles?  No.  It's just another Obama speech, meant to be purely symbolic, but which translates into little or no action.

Americans approve of GOP Congress

Americans have a much more positive view of the Republican-led Congress, and they just recently were sworn into office on January 5.  The approval rating of Congress has recently risen from 13% to 20%.  That might not seem like a huge difference, but that’s nearly a 55% change!  Americans also like Speaker of the House, John Boehner.   He has a public approval rating of 42%.  By contrast, Nancy Pelosi’s disapproval is 54%!  Her highest approval ever was 44%!

Wednesday, January 05, 2011

John A. Boehner is now Speaker of the House of Representatives

John A. Boehner is now Speaker of the House of Representatives.  Americans are no longer held hostage to the Pelosi Democrats' far-left agenda of higher taxes, more government programs, agencies, commissions, rules, regulations, laws, and higher unemployment.  Americans spoke quite clearly that they don't want Congress to bankrupt our nation with their failed ideology.  Americans love this country because it is based upon liberty.  Liberty means that individuals should be free to pursue their own objectives without coercion by other men, namely, government agents.  Now the hard work begins in terms of repealing the socialist legislation that Nancy Pelosi passed while she was Speaker.  This isn’t going to be easy.  The Democrats have been trying to pass socialist legislation for over a century, and they had this narrow two-year window of opportunity and they rammed through as much as they can.  Now we must slow Obama down, reverse course from the socialist direction we’ve been heading in, and then advance our agenda of liberty.

The Media Will Lie and Imply Democrats are still the Majority

When Congress returns in the next few days, you can expect that the media will act as though the minority Democrats are still in charge.  As far as the media is concerned, nothing has changed.  The election did not happen at all in their eyes.  Who will be interviewed when major legislation is considered?  Democrats will.  The media will give the impression that, even though they are in a small minority, that they actually reflect the views of the American public.  But they don't.  And don't fall for the media's trick, either.  This is just the game that they play.
