North Carolina Democrat Gov. Beverly Perdue has asked that congressional elections be canceled! Yes, she said it! Canceling elections in America and creating a dictatorship? The Democratic Party way! This is the logical consequence of following a statist ideology. After massively increasing the size and scope of government, mandating what you can eat, what kind of car you may drive, the light bulbs you have in your home, what kind of health care you may receive, it's just a logical next step to say that you are not competent to elect your leaders either. Democrats oppose representative government because they know the people, properly informed, will oppose Democrats. (Thomas Friedman once famously said that we should be China for a day--you know, on election day).
